I just received this monitor just before leaving for a trip abroad. I was spoiled with two monitors so I bought it to use at night in a hotel. In addition to the monitor with a thin protective film, my device came with a power adapter with US standard 120 V pins and a USB A socket; a male USB-A to USB-C cable to connect the aforementioned power adapter to the USB-C monitor power port on the monitor; a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the computer's USB-C port to the monitor's multipurpose USB-C port; HDMI to mini HDMI cable for connecting a computer or video game HDMI port to a monitor's mini HDMI port. The monitor is well packed with plenty of standard black foam typical of laptop boxes. Cable, power supply and a small manual are located directly under the monitor. I immediately tested the monitor with the USB-C to USB-C cable mentioned above. The monitor was recognized by my HP Elitebook running Windows 10, so no driver or action was required on my part. After setting up the default Windows display configuration by right-clicking and selecting display properties, I simply configured the monitor as an extended display with the magnification I wanted. No additional applications or interfaces were required. Total setup time from hookup to completion was less than a minute. The monitor's brightness was typical of any FHD laptop display you could see. There were no dead pixels. The device did not warm up after about 30 minutes of operation. The external power supply was not used. I didn't use the mini HDMI port. Cons: The instructions do not indicate which port to use to connect the monitor. A section defines the location of each port and its function. Another section asks you to connect the computer to a port without specifying the port. It's not difficult to determine the correct connector port by combining the information from the two sections, but how difficult would it be to say "Full Feature USB-C connector" instead of just "USB connector" when prompted to connect will. monitor to computer? There are three USB ports on the monitor, one of which is Micro-USB-A, which doesn't come with a cable. This monitor is exactly what I expected and hoped for when reading the description before purchasing. I will update this review if my view of the monitor changes.
