Review on Narrow Frame Portable Monitor ZSCMALLS 15.6", 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Built-In Speakers, Wall Mountable, HD by Mark Turner

I feel a lot of positive feedback should be paid for otherwise I got a lemon for having nothing but issues (listed below - some of them are small and wouldn't be serious if the monitor worked): - Grooves in the case Don't hold it very well, so make sure you put it on a solid surface that won't bump or move. - The monitor must be connected to the wall. I thought it would charge and be really portable, but that's not what could be my fault. Maybe I missed it in the description. The included USB power cable is very short and doesn't reach the plug, so you'll probably have to buy a new one. The speakers are not very loud at all. And my biggest problem: I can't connect to my laptop on the first try. I've tried different cables (both USB and HDMI), different ports, and even different laptops and the problem remains the same. I've had this screen for 2 months now and at first thought it was my old laptop. However, I received my new laptop and it's still having connection issues (both laptops are on the compatible devices list). It usually takes me about 10-20 minutes a day to connect/disconnect it before it connects. I tried turning it off at night, nothing helps. Right now I can't get it to work at all and have been trying for hours today. I sent a message to ZSCMALLS support on 8/6/22 about the issues. At first I was told that I could just use the short power cord that came with the kit. When I asked if they had a longer one that I could buy as I don't want an extension cord on my desk for this device, they said they misunderstood my post. My problems are related to the monitor's sleep settings, which I cannot change because the monitor cannot be detected. It's been 5 days since I heard from them and still no resolution. I bought an extended warranty so I'll see if they can either help or send a replacement, but I definitely don't recommend this monitor. Spend an extra $20 to get one that works the moment you turn it on.
