Hilitchi 304 Stainless Steel E-Clip where not hardened and easily deformed
These E-Clips were not hardened in any way and would deform when pressed into the shaft keyway and would not stay on the shaft. They were nice to look at, but useless for their actual function. I've learned my lesson and will never buy E or C clips from an unverified supplier ever again. Better go to a reputable supplier who supports their offer and knows who the E or C clip is for.
