could not fit into backpack reservoir sleeve without tube popping out of hose connector

I was hoping to use this reservoir on a series of long warm weather hikes. I found that inserting it into my pack's reservoir sleeve always resulted in the hose pulling off the hose tip and splashing water into my pack. I then tried using the ShapeShift inner tank without the HydraSleeve insulating layer. The same thing happened - the hose came off the notch. This happened with both the supplied insulated hose and the optional Arctic insulated hose. I bought and installed a stainless steel yoke which solved the problem but created a large lump that I was worried about damaging my pack's reservoir shell. Standard uninsulated tubing appears to grip tubing burrs more tightly and is much less likely to come loose during insertion or normal use. In addition, they are smooth, thin and very flexible, while insulating tubes are very rough, relatively thick and quite stiff. Pull out.
