I used these to build a frame to hold a net to keep birds away from our blueberries. They were exactly what I needed. The only problem was that they were difficult to fit onto 1/2" PVC pipe - to the point where the pair cracked but didn't break, but the cracks didn't affect the strength of the connection. and the benefit of this was that the fit was so snug we didn't have to use glue so i don't think that's a downside, i'm sure i'll be buying more.
