I wish I had read all the bad reviews on this product instead of just making an impulse purchase after seeing ads on Instagram. No matter how well you insert the clear cylinder into the blue bubble sleeve, water will always trickle down and form a round block of ice that needs to be discarded. If you don't throw it away, but just leave it as the bottom of a clear cylinder, it will spill even more, forming an even larger block of ice, making the center difficult to remove. There are so many vertical connecting chambers between the bulbs. that the ice that the Ice Genie ends up making is more bits and pieces than actual semi-circles. This purchase was a waste of money for me and instead of returning the used product I decided to just throw it in the bin as I didn't think to keep the original packaging.
