Review on 💾 PNY Elite-X 256GB USB 3.1 Gen 1 Flash Drive, Fast Read Speeds up to 200MB/s (P-FD256ELX-GE) by Brian Garrett

I bought these for a quick backup while at work. They don't do their job. The writing performance is miserable. Somewhere one to three orders of magnitude worse than stated. Instead of 100 MB/s I get 15 for sequential write and 0.1 MB/s for random write. This is unacceptable. Unfortunately I redesigned the packaging as PNY discs have always been great before so I probably lost the money I spent. What the heck, PNY. I guess I can't trust you guys now.
