I ordered this little radio because a) it was economical, b) it didn't have a mechanical CD/DVD player and c) it had physical volume had knob and real tactile function keys. Yes, it's also a touchscreen device, but I can easily access volume, tracking, and features without taking my eyes off the road. Installation was easy as I used the conversion cable that came with it, and it sounds really good for what it is. Makes my cheap van speakers sound better than ever with the standard radio. The radio stations seem to respond well and work just as cleanly as a non-HD digital radio. I've loaded thousands of my favorite songs onto the micro SD card and it plays them perfectly no matter what audio format they are in. For the price I think it's great. It's only been a few days since I installed it, so we'll see how it holds up over time. The only thing I regret about this radio is that it doesn't seem to have a file browser for my SD card. Storage. It just plays everything either in order or randomly. I can't just go into one of the folders on the card and select my song directly. The only other thing I regret is not buying the version with the HD radio tuner. For the price you can't go wrong with this item.
