Review on GreenOlive Multicolored Flexible Silicone Accessories by Patrick Diaz

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Very limited use Great for bakeware

I like that they are color coded and easy to clean. I complain that the thicker ones are very hard to hit with a rolling pin and hard to keep straight. Sometimes they get there (finally!) and they're all wavy. In other cases, they continue to roll over and lie on their side. It can be very difficult to get them the way you need them. (And that's me, a 35-year-old woman who uses her hands a lot. If I had arthritis or weak hands I wouldn't be able to use them.) Another downside, and maybe my own fault, that I did before ordering Didn't realize I can only use them on my standard 2 inch wooden rolling pin with handles when rolling out a very narrow piece of dough. If I had it on a long rolling pin, like a French rolling pin, I might have a wider dough. But even in this case you are limited because you can only roll in one direction without leaving marks on the dough. So if you have something that needs to be very smooth and precise, that helps. But if you have to roll out the mass or you are already used to the dough, I think that makes less sense. I wouldn't buy them again. But consider what your needs are. If you still want them I would buy them instead of hard plastic because I think they will break easily.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not bad
