I have been using PureGuardian humidifiers for several years and am a fan. Bought this to replace an old one that completely broke. I chose this one because it held more water (doesn't need to be refilled as often) and had a built-in humidity sensor. I use these in the living room. PROS: • Shows humidity even when the humidifier is off (which can also be a disadvantage in a bedroom) • Very quiet • Easy to clean • Mold/fungus resistant container • Longer wand seems to disperse mist better. CONS: • The tank seems to fit poorly in the slot. I need to make sure it's flush with the front face so it doesn't go a little crooked. • The display is a bit bright - this can be a problem if it's in a bedroom. While you can turn off the circular display, the humidity doesn't turn off unless you unplug the power cord.
