An attractive jar delivered without literature filled our house with a toxic, dizzying smell of baked paint and formed a sticky coating on the lid where it pooled and a ring on the stove left. I bought it because the description indicated a blemish (don't care for us as cast iron always rusts over time) but the seller obviously fixed the imperfection with paint. We both feel ill and after a few hours the house still smells of poison (but not so much because we opened the windows on all floors). If we had a fire last night and went to bed with this thing on the stove, we would die. ?
