You have a Whirlpool Gold Series WDT780SAEM1 and this product makes a great affordable replacement. Background: I noticed water leaking from under the dishwasher while it was running. I disassembled it for diagnostics and found that the leak is at the circulating pump. Replacement pump "OEM" costs 2-3 times more than this one. My dishwasher wasn't listed as compatible with this pump, but some reviews said it would fit. Looked identical to the original pump so I decided to give it a try. Installation: Fits perfectly. It turned out to be identical to the original in design and size. Have used it for several wash cycles with no errors or problems. I used hose clamps when installing to ensure a tight seal, but I think that would be a little overkill. Conclusion: The price savings of this pump compared to the OEM model were enormous. It works as expected. Installation was easy.
