Review on Samsung Galaxy Watch Active (40mm) US Version - GPS Bluetooth Smartwatch with Fitness Tracker and Sleep Analysis in Black by Linh Chi ᠌

Disappointed with the product, not good for anything.

After using it for a whole year, we have come to the conclusion that it would be best not to purchase it. One could purchase a watch from a well-known brand that is made in China for half the price. This watch would have all of the same functions, and it would even last longer without needing to be recharged. The following circumstances served as the final straw: The one thing that made me pleased was a reminder of action, and it was the only feature. Each and every hour of ""sitting" at work as the bell on the clock rang out, "Hey! Now is the time to get toasty! ", do body twists. A few months ago, for reasons that are now unknown, the watch ceased keeping track of the total number of reps that were performed. Even resetting everything to its factory settings was not successful; we had to take it to the service center. After approximately half an hour, they refreshed me, and after that everything was all right. For one week. After a week had passed, the new firmware was installed, and instead of an active vibration reminder, the "sleeping shoe" icon just started to light up on the clock. This icon is a sneaker with the letter 'zZZ' written above it. That is to say, the watch, the primary purpose of which is to alert me to activity, does not perform this job for me. After perusing Reddit, I came to the conclusion that I am not the only one. And when I decided that I needed a watch. I was holding out hope that the "certified" brand would present the complete concept without any unexpected twists. Now that trust has been damaged, selling them for fifty percent less what they were originally asking is just a shame.

Pros
  • - NFC; - design
Cons
  • a low level of autonomy; a poor level of accuracy while counting steps; operating system flaws (for some reason, steps are counted during cycling); a moniker that does not live up to the promise of being "active."
