2013 Ford Fusion About 2 years ago I had a deer roll bumper, hood, windshield and driver's door. The only damage I could see at the time was to the window pillar, but that wasn't enough for me to make a claim and go through a repair process that would likely result in a color mismatch. Moving on 6 months later when I do a scheduled service and notice the hood latch is binding and the hood itself isn't perfectly aligned. It's not that easy to spot, but if you've looked for it you might be able to see that something is wrong. Fast forward another month and one of my "new" lightbulbs has blown. Since you have to remove almost the entire front of this car to replace the headlights, I replaced everything about a year ago when a headlight burned out (5 year old car, I always have the headlights on). So now I'm looking at this particular light and trying to figure out how I can change just one bulb without paying the store to take my front end off. Thanks to YouTube, there are "cheats" that worked for me, but then I found out that the deer broke the headlight bracket that holds the bulb. Are you familiar with the topic I am looking at here? ๐ I wasn't ready for a major repair at the time, so I just replaced the lightbulb but left the high beam off so the light wouldn't bother oncoming drivers. But when I recently started looking for new dampers and struts, I remembered that this part was broken, which led me to this particular article. So if you're still reading this long, boring story, let me get down to some facts. It was the cheapest I could find, contained a bulb that was almost exactly the same as the OEM in terms of brightness and color, and it matched perfectly. It should be noted that this new lens is completely clear while my originals were somewhat frosted. I didn't notice until I took a step back to make sure it worked and didn't try to determine if it was design or age. But it doesn't matter why, they just don't go together. The best solution in my opinion at this price point is to just buy two and swap out both sides at the same time. The bulbs supplied do this without a brain. As soon as I write this review, I will buy another one.
