I'm not going to lie, this thing is pretty darn easy to install, but with some patient tools and some flexibility, you can install it and save yourself about three hundred dollars. No, it doesn't fit perfectly in an OEM case, but if you want a perfect fit, buy an OEM and wait for it to break, not to mention the additional hundreds of dollars you'll be spending on it. Most E46 owners consider this preventive maintenance. So if you have yet to do it, don't wait for your AC to turn off in the middle of summer like I did. Do it ASAP and buy this part.
