I have too many children and nobody likes to combine socks in the same way. I had a sock basket. A whole laundry basket full of lonely, incomparable socks. It's embarrassing. Anyway, one day I went insane (or got reasonably sane), threw out the trash and bought packs of these (low cut and ankle length) and got all my kids (and me) to share them. They don't have to match as they are all black. They are super durable. And most importantly: THEY ARE COMFORTABLE! I love her. My kids love them. After a few years of use I bought a few more because I threw away some due to punctures in my toes. My kids wear socks around the house and sometimes on the street when they shouldn't. You pretty much passed the test at my house. Black does not fade. The rubber band does not stretch. After a few years, with heavy use and abuse, they can become punctured (as expected). This is a good buy. Act!
