I found this e-collar unusable and returned it. "Static" is actually an electric shock, but this product is not advertised as a shock collar. Instead they call it "electric current". I only wanted to use the sound and vibration functions as my dog already has an Invisible Fence Shock Collar. These features might work well if you can find someone who knows this product inside out, e.g. B. a trainer. I watched videos on YouTube, posted a request for help on their FB page, and asked a local coach for help. The main purpose of this collar is to deliver an electric shock. Since I have a long-haired bitch (Samoyed), I bought longer studs, cut her hair in the place of the stud and watched a video on how to properly put the collar on the neck (at 4 or 8 o'clock). It didn't help, the battery was dead. Too many disappointments. Just buy the shock collar for $39.
