These little devices are amazing. I have two -12 total and they are paired with Arris SB6183. After the two techs came out they said everything was within spec but I was having insanely bad packet loss and unrecoverable errors. My power levels were 10-16, which is technically within specs, but still very hot and on the higher end of the spectrum. My downstream SNR values are around 35-38, so it's good there. After installing two of them following the advice on the dslreports forum, my power levels dropped from -2 to 4 while still maintaining SNR values between 35 and 38. My packet loss has drastically reduced and is almost completely gone. Now I can play bf:v much more stable. It's almost oily. Maybe, two hours later I get a packet loss warning for a few seconds. Previously every 5 minutes. Even more ping lost. My incorrigibles are almost gone. Now only one channel reports about it. The remaining 15 were free, so I assume the remaining packet loss came from that channel. Channel 3. Now you need to reclaim this remaining channel from the helmsman and get it out again.
