Review on ๐Ÿ” Enhanced SEO: MOOG Steering & Suspension K8611T Ball Joint by Michael Altayeb

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Regular quality MOOG

Good stuff as always. Read the instructions! And when they say where to meet the I-beam, it means at the very end. I hit the side of the end. I also learned on YouTube that if you pre-stretch the whole thing by hammering the Sole fork into the space where the upper ball joint is, then hitting the I-beam underneath will cause the lower ball joint to pop out. Good news ! The dust cover is not the same as Amazon's. They are upgraded to a new style with a smaller built-in dust cover that you don't need to install. I once spent a heck of a lot of time with an old MOOG combo and a dust cover on a Durango. (Actually, I've never been able to get this duster past the supposed "lip".) So not having to fiddle with it is a relief. But put on a bright light and pull out a magnifying glass - there is a slit in the dust cover through which the old grease flows out, and the ball joint must be installed with this slit facing inwards (i.e. not near the brake disc). . ) I believe both the top and bottom blowjobs for this job were made in the US.

Pros
  • EASY TO INSTALL - Precise tolerances for easy installation and steering adjustments for a perfect fit right out of the box
