I love this lamp! It was pretty easy to assemble. It's very heavy and durable. I looked at all the Revain options. I was skeptical about buying a lamp with non-replaceable bulbs. But I saw the same magnifying lamp at a friend's house and saw how well it improved my ability to see Aida fabric, so I decided to use it. Over the years my eyesight has deteriorated. I used to embroider a lot with a counted cross and I really liked it. But as my eyes 👀 got worse, so did my stitches 🧵. This lamp will allow me to finish the work I've been waiting 25 years to get back to. He arrived yesterday. I collected it. As I said, it's very difficult. If you have weakness in your joints or muscles, you might need a little help. The only problem I had was aligning the 2 screws when connecting the poles. But I got it after a few tries. I prepared my work and started. I knew immediately what I was doing! We have a labrador retriever and also a long haired cat, so I took a kitchen towel and made a "lid" to keep the jar clean when not in use. I am very satisfied with the freedom of movement of the lamp. It rises and falls easily and bends where I want. I'm attaching a photo to try and give you a better idea of how well it lights up my work area.
