SAVE HEX KEY.

Required for returns. Lightbulbs STOP WORKING ONE WEEK AFTER PURCHASE. My irreplaceable leg. Whoever invented the irreplaceable headlights should reconsider their career and Brightech should rename themselves Dulltech. Don't buy from them again. Can you tell I'm a little angry? A magnifying glass is great, but please #$&*! Headlights are interchangeable.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Mama really liked this magnifying glass. She is 87 years old and has a very hard time seeing and reading without really bright, focused light. She could bend it on her knees to read mail, magazines, etc. Unfortunately, the "light" only lasted 3 months. She never left the light on and only used it about 2 hours a day. (I know because she lives with me). Now the light seems to have "blown out" and research shows there are no replacement bulbs in this product. SO DISAPPOINTED! And the evil $90…

Bracket won't stay in place and tips about

Update: A year and a half after I bought the lamp/loupe, the wire broke where the loupe attaches to the flexible metal bracket. The light no longer works. Not for long. When I'm sitting in a chair, I can't adjust the height of the armrest low enough for the folding part of the armrest to flex into the correct position for reading a book on my lap; Therefore, the magnifying glass is too high to read, and when I lean to make it low enough, it rotates toward me or away from me, affecting the font…

ATTENTION! EYE HAZARD!

This product consists of a metal tube that is inserted into another metal tube. A mounting collar holds the inner metal tube in place, allowing you to adjust the lamp's height to your liking. Unfortunately, the inner metal tube is under spring tension. If you unlock the locking ring without first installing the heavy piston top, the inner metal tube will pop out with great force and speed. it happened to me It hit my glasses and scratched one of my lenses. Anyone who knows how expensive glasses

Still looking for the best

This is one of those products where the good is really good and the bad is so bad you want to beat the designer. The important part, the magnifying section with light is good. This is the best I've found with the widest field of view. But the base is HEAVY. Too heavy to move with one hand. So heavy that the light swings from the top one way and the base swings the other. I keep it next to my sewing machine so I can do any manual work with it. But the top part will not be stable at all, it will…

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

The product has a potential light problem. To stay updated.

I was looking for a good magnifying glass with light for my needle felting project and saw this product had great reviews so I bought it straight away. I started my project right after receiving the package. After 20 minutes of use, the light begins to flicker, such flickering can lead to a seizure. I turned the light off, waited a few minutes and turned it back on, the light works fine for 2 minutes then it starts flickering again. I've gone through all the previous comments on Revain, some…

Wonderful lamp! for new lighting

I love this lamp! It was pretty easy to assemble. It's very heavy and durable. I looked at all the Revain options. I was skeptical about buying a lamp with non-replaceable bulbs. But I saw the same magnifying lamp at a friend's house and saw how well it improved my ability to see Aida fabric, so I decided to use it. Over the years my eyesight has deteriorated. I used to embroider a lot with a counted cross and I really liked it. But as my eyes 👀 got worse, so did my stitches 🧵. This lamp will

The best light for cross stitch!

I just hope there is enough space here to say everything I like about this lamp. I prepared to order the famous name light that many embroiderers use. Here someone wrote that this light has become much better. I bought THREE other brand lights. (One cost $500 and was presumably the same one used by doctors—it's in Goodwill now.) All the others are more expensive than this light, so I probably wouldn't have tried them without the great reviews. However, I continued to read review after review of
