This is the best in its class "mini drone" (quadcopter) of the three we've tested and the first we've endorsed have found worth buying back for family gatherings so the kids don't have to share. Of course, something so small doesn't have a camera. Pros: (1) Ultra easy controlled push button launch, which then hangs in a very stable mode while you prepare for flight. Great out of the box. (2) Altitude lock works well and is a must have for these pocket drones if you want to fly safely indoors (3) When running at low speed it can be very "slow" and still stay in the air. This makes it easier for young children to play with and safer for indoor use. I also think it increases flight time on a single charge compared to other pocket drones in the same price range (about 10 minutes, other 6, see here: Top Race Quad Copter 2.4GHz Headless Mode Unbreakable RC Pocket Drone Mini Pocket Drone (TR -MQ7) )(4) Very easy to fly, almost never crashes. Cons: Not much, more potential improvements (1) I wish there was a light in the main body that would actually illuminate it for night flying. The outdoor lighting works well at dusk, but that's about it. (2) There is no "back" button that takes it back to the controller. However, there is an auto-landing button that will land him safely no matter where he is in range. So if you need to panic, you can always press this button. Also, since we haven't found that the "auto-return" feature doesn't work as well on models that have it, I don't see its absence as a major issue here. (3) The fans are partially open at the top, unlike some other "caged" models, making them easier to damage. But there are still 360-degree horizontal bumpers, and it hasn't been a problem so far because we rarely collide with it because it flies so well. They supply 4 spare blades which we have not had to change yet. All these different quadcopters have their pros and cons, but so far this is the best combination on average and the most fun so far. 4 1/2 stars.
