Added three photos. I was shooting the moon at 10am on a wobbly tripod, so I increased the shutter speed. Also, the Exif info says 800mm because I set it that way since my old Pentax Kx has an APS-C sensor. i.e. 1.5x 500mm. Since the shutter speed was set to ultra-fast to reduce jitter, I had to increase the ISO to 800. Since this is actually a T-mount telescope, the aperture is fixed. You control focus, exposure, shutter speed and white balance manually. I have a better tripod that supports a large lens and reduces camera shake. I really want to try this lens with a slower shutter speed and lower ISO. Now some information about the photos. I went to Colt State Park in Rhode Island with my wife and my dog Ellie. I set up a tripod on the south side of the pier. The sailboat I filmed was on the side of Warwick Bay and at least two miles away according to Google Maps. The squirrel was at the far west end of my yard. I took a picture of my driveway.
