If you are looking to replace the regulator at a much cheaper price than original parts or a service center I would recommend this unit. It's not the same material as the original block, but it seems pretty solid. One thing to note, my particular block didn't have two grommets inserted so I had to work them out with my hands and needle nose pliers. , using the old part as a reference. For this reason, I recommend storing your broken regulator until you have installed a replacement. I had some difficulty installing the replacement in the door (this is not a fault of the block, just a very small gap). So I temporarily removed one of the spacers anyway, giving it flexibility enough to snap into place.
