I wanted a lightweight hooded coat that I can wear in the rain/snow. Not just a raincoat, but something with insulation. I live in Denver so I have a heavy coat for the sub-zero temperatures but need something lighter for warmer days (30 degrees). That's great. I have insulation, it looks waterproof (I'll seal it too) and it has a hood (no fur) that I can wear while walking down the street instead of lugging an umbrella. It's nice, soft and very roomy. Excellent purchase
