Look great won't cut to shreds

Bought for my husband for Christmas. Since he likes to cook, knives are indispensable. After trying to work with these knives for 2 months we returned them. The blade is quite thick and the knives shred meat, don't cut veggies thin, and are rather inefficient overall. You look great.
