I have always tried to avoid buying the Luxottica brand. So I had 2 pairs of Warby Parkers and this is my first Maui Jim. The sunglasses are really well made. The frame seems solid. And the lenses are polarized. The pads have a rubber layer and the inside of the cleats also have a tread to prevent easy slipping. It also suits my big face well. I like it! I haven't dropped the glasses so I can't comment on the durability of the lenses, although other reviews mention that they can get scratched.
