Great Ensemble! Perfectly detailed and uniform rose gold bands rimming the cymbals. I ordered early enough to use a few plates and cutlery to gauge their shelf life. They were bought for a larger outdoor engagement; which was relatively formal for an outdoor event. Some reviewers said the plates were brittle, perhaps because they were stacked with bricks. They are sturdy and hold a decent range of food; and for a party, small plates ensure guests don't pile their plates with a lot of food they're actually going to eat; As a result, less food ends up in the trash. Dessert plates are a bit small but go well with a portion/slice of cake. Also, guests can always return for a few seconds. The forks and knives were strong enough to pierce meatballs, mostaccioli, roasts, salads, potatoes, etc. Reviews said they were brittle and broken, must have been used to cut shoe leather. If like me you're nervous or unsure, pre-order a set and use it. I also. I purchased napkins with rose gold dots on the bottom edges to complete this set. compliments from everyone. In fact, most guests thought they were seeing china. Many wanted to buy the same set. The cups were small; and perhaps best suited for children. That's the only thing I would change (and I did). Beautiful...can't say enough!
