So Close to Being Great

12" x 17" Wooden Pizza Peel Natural Bamboo Pizza Chopping Board with Handle 12" x 17" For baking pizza, bread crusts, slicing fruit , vegetables, cheese. We don't eat pizza every day, but when we make pizza we like to bake it on the pizza stone we use in our oven. A pizza stone, with proper baking, can help improve the flavor of even inexpensive frozen pizzas. A disadvantage of using a pizza stone in the oven is that small bits of pizza topping will rise up the sides and eventually the pizza will stick to the stone. Finding out is often difficult. That's where Pizza Peel comes in for something like this. I wanted to use wood because I think natural bamboo is a good choice for many kitchen items. I love the size and shape of this, it's big enough for most pizzas you'll want to cut at home and it's sturdy enough that I never feel like it won't get the job done. The only thing I don't like about this pizza is the spiciness. Although slightly slanted, the slightly curved edge of the front of the scoop is generally not enough to pick up the pizza, which is the tool's job. If the front end of this scoop was a little thinner, maybe at a lesser angle so it could get under the pizza crust, I'd sing its praises. Unfortunately due to this problem I can't. If you need a pizza skin that you can peel off the baking surface, skip this option and try another.
