Review on Dritz 574, Turquoise Eyelet Pliers - Enhanced SEO by Jennifer Roberts

A manufacturing defect affects a good product

This tool worked great for 5/32 inch eyelets. For my project I needed 1/4" grommets and bought two piece grommets that size. All my training attempts ended in disaster. The resulting eyes were deformed except for one which split. What the hell? After I removed the part of the grommet holder (lime color) I found that it was too big to hold the eyelet properly (yes I measured it).The tab was askew because the center of the holder was too big.The deformed eyes gave out suddenly make sense. The forked one was the result of an opportunity when I was carefully balancing an eyelet on a holder. As I mentioned earlier, the 5/32" cleats came out perfectly because the cleat holder was the right size. If only the tool the right size for the 1/4" grommets. *sigh* This is clearly a manufacturing defect. I will contact Dritz and let them know. Will they respond with a general thank you note for your interest? Just take a look!
