I buy my grandchildren colored cables to match the covers of their devices for a number of reasons. First, I failed to teach them to differentiate between micro-USB, USB-C, and Lightning cables. Many adults probably don't know the difference. That way, based on the color, they know which cable to use. Second, they (and adults) steal their cables. I want it to be obvious when someone is using their cables. I bought the purple box to match my grandson's Fire HD purple case. I also bought him purple wall chargers. I think I'll also label them all just to make them stand out. Btw the cables work well, they like different lengths and the price was great.
