I have used many other carbon monoxide detectors over the years. Decided to try this machine after my last one got lost. This device also takes temporary readings which would be a bonus for me. The temperature gauge is a bit slow, but that is typical of many temperature gauges. The biggest problem is that this meter just doesn't read CO properly. I have some conflicting readings with him. I tried to calibrate according to the instructions. Even when placed on a source such as a gas stove, the meter will not show a constant reading. Sometimes I get a high level alarm and then it just goes away. I don't need 100% accuracy. I just need a device that when it shows or doesn't show CO levels, can believe it's true. Not this device. In the end I would have chosen a different device, which I unfortunately have to admit as I am a big fan of small instruments.
