This product has been returned. Before that I bought two towels. I decided to keep the one I liked best and return another. The first item purchased was the Cotton Craft Luxury Hotel Bath Sheet – 2 Pack (B01N5I1HND) 40" x 80" for $36.99. I hated the color and loved the towel. So I kept it. Then I bought the Cotton Craft in the color I liked along with the Pinzon Organic Cotton Bath Towel, Set of 2 (B071H3K3LC) 40" x 70" for 35.99. I plan to compare and return the loser. Both saved. Both had their strengths and it all came down to preference. The Cotton Craft had a noticeable 10 inches of extra length that I liked but didn't need, was very absorbent, and dries quickly. Pinzon was just as broad. Soaks in just as well, but dries a little longer. Pinzon also had more colors to choose from. Both were heavy. The big difference between them was the softness. Cotton Craft was thinner and denser. This resulted in faster drying after use. Pinzon has become fluffier and dries longer after use. I understand most people like plush towels. Not me. I don't mind plush, but a simple, thick, unobtrusive towel will do. So I prefer Cotton Craft. I kept the pinzon because it was a good towel too. In the future, I had to buy the second option. Why? Mainly because of the price difference. Cotton Craft towels are up $2 or more depending on color, while Pinzon towels are down over $2. In addition, Pinzon had matching 6 piece sets in addition to Pinzon Organic Cotton Bath Towel for Bathroom, 6 Piece Set (B072KWJYVH). Maybe I'm a bit picky but both towels weren't exactly what I was looking for but I kept both. Which brings me to the reason for this review: Utopia 700 GSM Towels Extra Large Bath Towel (35" x 70") - Luxury Bath Towel (B01N0SVK1K) 15.99. These towels were priced comparable to Pinzon's reduced price. And it was listed as the #1 best-selling bath towel. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/bestseller/home-garden/3731701/ref=pd_zg_hrsr_home-garden) So I tried it. I was very disappointed. They were worse straight out of the box. Not as heavy, not as dense, not flimsy and not plush. Maybe I could live with this towel, but I wouldn't buy more. Then I washed it. I follow the directions that come with the Cotton Craft towels. Wash and dry twice. When I took the Utopian bath towel out of the dryer to put it back in the washing machine, I noticed that it frayed and rolled. 1 washing and drying cycle! Even the best house and garden towels I've bought at Walmart didn't wind up until after the third or fourth wash. RETURNED washed but unused. PS While I prefer 80" length, 70" is still acceptable. But now I'm spoiled by these 40 foot wide towels. PSS Pinzon is #3 on the bestseller list and Cotton Craft is #8.
