Meets my needs: Car GPS

This is my first GPS module of any kind. Overall I'm very happy with how well it works. Having only had it for a month, I am still exploring its possibilities. I've heard of problems with the GPS if you don't follow its instructions, but I've never seen anything like it. If I take a different route than the one suggested, e.g. B. avoiding the traffic, the path is simply recalculated and displayed. The only thing I can refuse is text to speech. While this is useful about 80% of the time, it tends to garble street names. If the name is a direct name, this is not a problem. But sometimes it destroys the name. The good thing is that you can look at the screen and see the name written. Without this as a backup I sometimes wouldn't know what the issue was. An example is the street name "Pacific". The other day I got what sounded like "pa-fi-ka". And if I drive a little north from here, it destroys the word Sacramento. But these are really minor things and I wouldn't say it's a problem. In general, I would give this device a very good rating. I drive everyday looking for an address and this little thing saved me a lot of time. I've gotten to a point where I don't even think about where I'm going, I just let TomTom take me there. TomTom ONE XL-S 4.3 inch widescreen handheld GPS never wrong
