Meets my needs: Car GPS

This is my first GPS module of any kind. Overall I'm very happy with how well it works. Having only had it for a month, I am still exploring its possibilities. I've heard of problems with the GPS if you don't follow its instructions, but I've never seen anything like it. If I take a different route than the one suggested, e.g. B. avoiding the traffic, the path is simply recalculated and displayed. The only thing I can refuse is text to speech. While this is useful about 80% of the time, it…

My Auto/Fast Friendly Service only fits

TomTom looks good but sometimes the satellite system doesn't work. However, it is better than my phone's GPS. The windshield of my car is not vertical. It leans back at a very odd angle. Check out the photos of the Honda Fit so you can see the problem I'm having. The odd angle also brings the underside of the windshield within arm's length of the driver. I'm currently trying to figure out a way to install it in my car because it's good enough that if it were just attached to the dash it could…

It rained every day for ten days. Before the trip we bought Tom-Tom and we are very happy about it. During the trip there were no disputes, which always happens with paper maps. One person is the driver and the other is the navigator, and the navigator can never quickly or clearly tell the driver which way to go. (Plus, the…

Excellent full featured GPS at a great price

I really like this unit. I got one for Christmas and loved it so much I bought another one for my wife. I did a lot of research on this product and its competitors before purchasing and was hesitating between the Garmin Nuvi 350 and this one. Luckily my friend bought the very Nuvi he was considering before I bought it and let me borrow it for the long drive (800 miles one way). So I benefited a lot from it to justify my decision. What I would really like to see is a combination between the two…
