Review on Astro 2PG7S Quart Pressure Paint by Joel Miranda

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Worked well and was easy to clean

Disclaimer: I'm the worst painter in the world. My painting projects are always disappointing. Over the years I've used Binks sprayers, airless sprays, and rattle sprays. All delivered mediocre results, malfunctions or subsequent cleaning were not easy to carry out. Then I found this article. Since I have multiple air compressors, ranging from small to large, why not use their power to run the spray gun? No more bad airless motors that fail or seize up. This item has virtually no moving parts (good) and is fairly simple. He's quite clumsy with a paint can, hoses and a gun that needs to be controlled. If you're using this in a stationary position, it doesn't matter. If, like me, you're using it to go up and down repositioned stairs, that's more of a problem. This was used to spray fire retardant on wood paneling. It worked PERFECTLY. It has also been cleaned like new. Of course I used a water based product but this thing worked really well. Someone mentioned in another review that they wish the pot had a sensor. The one I have has an adjustable regulator with a gauge that makes it easy to adjust the pressure. No need to mess around with the compressor. Just set the built-in controller. I also prestressed the material before putting it in the pot. Also, I added a built-in water separator just in front of the pot. He caught very little water vapor so as not to dilute the applied product.
