Description of Astro 2PG7S Quart Pressure Paint

Pressure spray gun with 2 quart (1893cc) pressure pot. Equipped with pressure gauge and fluid pressure regulator for accurate settings. Allows operator to mix and paint 2 quarts (1893cc) at a time. 6-Feet twin set of hose permits easy movement and operation of spray gun. Excellent for spraying large areas such as buses, trucks and vans.

Has it best in Paint Tools & Equipment

I used it to paint a door and am planning to use it for other painting jobs. The lines are short and stiff, and the pot is so light it's easy to pull. I hung the pot on the belt loop and held the gun in one hand and the leash in the other, and it was less awkward. In the diagram shown in the manual, the compressor air line and gun air line were connected to the wrong potentiometer terminals, but I figured it out. easy to use, just read the instruction manual(s) carefully

I'm by no means a painter but I'm very mechanical. I bought this sprayer to paint my shop front with LP SmartSide panels. When I got the painter I read the manuals and reread them, after about 2 weeks we bought the paint and finally the weather was clear enough to paint. It took me about 5 minutes for the atomizer to spray evenly. The only advice I can offer is to read the paint manufacturer's instructions on using their paint in a spray gun. I had to mix about 4 ounces of water into 2 liters…

Worked well and was easy to clean

Disclaimer: I'm the worst painter in the world. My painting projects are always disappointing. Over the years I've used Binks sprayers, airless sprays, and rattle sprays. All delivered mediocre results, malfunctions or subsequent cleaning were not easy to carry out. Then I found this article. Since I have multiple air compressors, ranging from small to large, why not use their power to run the spray gun? No more bad airless motors that fail or seize up.
