The sound picked up by this microphone is amazing. We now have 2 iMic in store because mine was always "borrowed". It's well made and convincingly heavy. This is not a cheap plastic microphone. This microphone is a reliable workhorse that will stand up to everyday use. Pros: The sound quality is amazing. He records silently as if he were working in a soundproof studio room. The microphone picks up sounds from front and side noise/fans, air conditioners, birds outside. all were eliminated. Cons: I didn't find any! We use our mic daily as a web mic for Zoom and Skype calls. We also use it to record podcasts, audio for tutorials, and voice-over videos. This is a great interview mic right in iPhone/Android (Android needs a different cable (https://amzn.to/2rzTZOc). This mic will be one of the last mics you will ever buy. This iMic can handle some cannot compete with microphones for specialized recordings (this is not a real gun microphone), but in most cases this microphone will be very useful to you.
