This product is advertised as 'made of comfortable leather'. No, that is not so. It is made of PU (polyurethane) leather, a type of plastic. This product appears to be sturdy enough for general use. The latch seems to hold and the overall look is quite nice. However, since it is NOT actually leather, attempting to attach it to an even larger diameter, stronger key ring only resulted in the edge of the top loop being torn. Polyurethane "leather" tears more easily than real leather. Disappointing.
