Review on Penn Plax Lok Tite Gang Valve Plastic Aquarium Pump Accessories by Liz Howard

Lok-Tite vs Accuair

I bought these two brands to use with an air channel to create a drip system to introduce new fish to my aquarium water. The system works like clockwork and I have much better luck bringing home new fish. The straight-way valve allows me to adjust the rate of dripping from the tank into the new fish bucket. And I can either close all valves but one to acclimate a bucket, or if I have multiple buckets of fish I can use other valves to drip into multiple buckets. I bought both Accuair and Lok-Tite not knowing which is the best. Until I used them with air, just water. I am significantly happier with the quality of the Accuar and only use it instead of Loctite. Keep in mind that none of them are expensive, but for the money they are reasonable. However, I personally find the Accuair to be better built and feel cheaper than the Lok-Tite.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
