Review on StarTech Monitor Riser Corner Workstation by Angela Fullerton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am very impressed! 5 Stars.

From time to time I receive a product that shows in small details that some care and attention has been given to the packaging and the product itself. A few weeks ago I started with a 5 year old BenQ monitor that recently failed and I bought a larger and cheaper LG monitor from Revain to replace it. And I immediately ran into a product that wasn't, well, very "customizable". The monitor was fine and worked well, but it had no way of lifting the screen and wouldn't let the screen rotate on the base. So it was a bit of a bad experience so I looked for a better base and found this one. Odd size but it seemed to fit the very curved and long base of the LG monitor (okay). And it has a small drawer at the bottom for pens and small items that always (better) clutter my desk. I just received this and it's very good for what I wanted. (I'm not very happy with the big white StarTech.com logo, but I can hide it or make it black to match the base.) I was actually glad the directions made sense (not that it's something complicated to put your legs up). ). ), and everything was packaged like someone really thought about it, and it looks good and (without the leg extensions) is perfect for elevating LG's new monitor by almost another 3 inches. Really perfect - I don't have to "look down" at the screen anymore! Therefore a clear recommendation from me.
