Review on Bialetti 1-Cup Moka Pot: Authentic Aluminum Silver Espresso Maker by Paul Giordano

I bought a Bialetti 6-cup coffee maker. I found the Bialetti 3 cup espresso I bought a few months ago to be too small. The 6-cup coffeemaker brews two 10-ounce cups of coffee (I dilute the espresso to make an americano) or 12-ounce espresso. I add some cream or milk to get the perfect cup of coffee. The coffee maker is easy to use as follows: 1) Rinse with clean water before first use and after each subsequent use. Never wash it in the dishwasher! This turns the aluminum grey. 2) Brew weak coffee and discard. That spices up the coffee machine. 3) Fill the filter with ground coffee and level it without tamping. 4) Fill the tank with cold tap water and insert the filter. on stovetop.5) Use medium or low heat (do not use high heat as this can burn the handle, damage the rubber seal, and high heat will result in less than desirable coffee) under the coffee maker and close the lid. It will take 6 to 8 minutes for the water to boil. 6) When the water in the tank starts to boil, the steam pushes it through the ground coffee into the upper tank. There will be a gurgling noise. Turn the heat down to low and wait for the water to fill the top tank. 7) When the sound becomes loud, it means the bottom tank is empty, then turn off the heater. You can also check this by gently opening the lid and seeing when the top tank is full. 8) Be careful when pouring coffee - it's very hot! Enjoy! I have found that this pot can make good coffee with almost any medium ground coffee. Just make sure the beans are fresh. The machine should be rinsed with clean water after each use (I wipe it with a paper towel). There is no need to use soap and never wash in the dishwasher. The only part of the coffee maker that may need replacing is the rubber gasket. In addition, it is an easy-to-use coffee maker that requires minimal maintenance.
