NOT suitable for 2001 VR6 12v without add.
The included coupler is too small to fit on a 01" VR6 12v Jetta. I had to go to O'Reilly and pay another 10 bucks for a Specter 3" 3" - Spend clutch to match the MAF (although you'll probably need a 3.5"x3" clutch, I had to stretch mine.) Once you have the extra clutch, this thing is generally cheaper than it is at O'Reilly's but I don't know what the quality of the air filter is so take a chance.It also came with absolutely no instructions.I had to google and disable images on the product page.
