I'm glad I bought this pot!

I feed my cats raw and when I cook for them I remove some of the skin and some of the bones from the chicken thighs and I can't throw it all away. For the past few years I've gotten enough to make broth and put it off long enough that I have enough to fill two Dutch ovens with broth. Of course, this required two pots and two burners. This not only made the kitchen warmer, it also used more electricity. But since I live in an apartment with a limited kitchen, I didn't think I could find room for another large pot. But in the end I decided to take the plunge and I'm so happy I did. Of course it's a bit difficult to clean as it's too tall to fit under the faucet. But it's not the pot's fault. I love this pot and am very happy with my purchase. Another good thing about this pot is that there is an air vent on the class lid. When I make bone broth it usually sits on the stovetop and simmers for 24 to 48 hours and when steam builds up on my other pots I get a little hiss from the lid that squirts whatever I'm cooking all over the stovetop, next to her and the wall on the other side. With a vent, it simply releases vapor without fouling.
