Disgusting sticker ruins an otherwise decent product

Looks like a well made dustpan. There are a few small nicks on the underside almost sharp enough to cut a hand or finger, but I think I can file them away, exposing the metal and making it rust faster. But this sticker. Come on! I started cleaning it from one corner and noticed it didn't come loose right away, so I thoroughly heated it (on both sides until visibly warm) with a hair dryer - but that didn't help. I now have the mess shown in the photo that I need to deal with so it doesn't stick to what I rub into it. Why should there even be a sticker? It's not on the product page. Even the bottom would be better - gosh it would smooth out those notches! Edit to add info on how to easily remove stickers: 1. Started out with good old soap and water - all he did was remove the paper from the sticker leaving the adhesive behind.2. Tried the hand sanitizer, dammit it was next to the soap hoping it would break the glue - it did absolutely nothing. I grabbed nail polish remover, yano, acetone from my wife. All he did was make him angrier and stickier. HOORAY! 4. Reminded me that I used WD-40 to remove tree tar from my car paint, so I pulled out a can of it, sprayed it on super nasty sticky glue, and then took an old blue plate, you know, those, those Throw them under the sink after they get too smelly to use on the dishes, but save in case you have a useful need later, and dish soap and start rubbing the soap over the WD-40. WOA! Urea! It really worked! Please.
