I recently upgraded the hard drive in my desktop computer and it has greatly increased the storage capacity. I decided that this much heavier device needed an extra layer of protection from vibration and movement that could damage the drive. This shock mount is very well constructed, protects the hard drive from all angles and took me about 10 minutes to install even though there were no instructions with the kit. The block itself requires no screws to assemble. The price is also well below what I feared I would have had to pay. One of the features that I'm happy with is the presence of an 8mm fan to connect to the hard drive.
