I bought these for the big yogurt smoothies I make for breakfast. I didn't want to keep using plastic. But they didn't last at all. Also where your mouth started to soften after about 15 minutes. The straw itself flexed at about the same time, so I couldn't thread it around the bottom of the cup to reach the bottom. After about 45 minutes it was unusable. If I had finished the drink a little faster, my brain would have frozen badly. I am very disappointed as I am desperately trying to find something that is not plastic but disposable. Unfortunately this was not the case.
