Just what we needed to avoid constantly touching the very sensitive thumbpad. Every time we picked up the remote, you kept touching the pad of your thumb, which caused the remote to do something you didn't want it to do. It also makes it easier to see the remote control and keep it in place on the chair's armrest. It could be a little tighter, a little looser on the sides, but it still works well. It doesn't affect any of the removed features. Has a hole in the front for an infrared sensor and a hole in the back for a charging cable.
