My old wifi extender lasted almost 2 years. I bought this one because it has one more WiFi connection than my old one. Good thing I had a WiFi splitter beforehand. This one came with no pairing instructions — not even tissue paper with size 4 doodles on it. Of course, pairing is a simple process. But if this is your first WiFi splitter. Anyway, the Wi-Fi button didn't light up, didn't blink after being held down to pair, nothing. Also, the more I looked at it, the more it didn't seem new. It was a little dirty and there were scuffs on the underside of the strip. I bet that's a returned pad that they unpacked and sent back. Now I have to wait another week for another extension cord (a different brand this time). And I have to take this junk to the UPS store. Aaaah!
