No Regrets - Accessories

This is my first Ray-Ban. I've wanted a pair for a few years but didn't want to pay $200 for frames. Like others, I was suspicious of several things: 1. Is it real? 2. Will I choose the right size? 3. I need 5184 New Wayfarer or 5121 Original Wayfarer. I've researched a lot on the internet. I have read reviews that say they are fake because they are made in China and don't feel like Italian made sunglasses. I searched and found external sources confirming that optical glasses are made in China and sunglasses are made in Italy. The feedback from the seller was consistently positive. So I felt comfortable that they were legal. When I decided on the size, I first researched on the internet, but in the end I made my choice using my old glasses as a pattern. I measured them and settled on the Ray-Ban, which was slightly larger than my current glasses. I used a tape measure to determine how much larger the 52mm would be and chose that size. When deciding between the new and the original, I googled "New Wayfarer vs. Original Wayfarer" and found bloggers who wrote reviews comparing the two. But in the end, finding videos for the Wayfarer 5184 and Wayfarer 5121 helped the most in making this decision. When I saw someone wearing glasses, I realized which one suits me best. After an evening of research and sleep I ordered 5184 and they worked great. I took her to Eye-Mart and ordered prescription plastic lenses for $39. I have a full set of under $200 Ray-Bans for frames I've seen at local optical stores.
